In my work I invite a sense of connection to ourselves as part of the natural world, evoking a meditative, immersive perspective and depth of heart felt feeling. 

I am inspired by my love of the natural world, and how time and movement can be felt within a drawing or painting.  I enjoy finding the patterns which emerge from the movement of organic elements and living beings and how a sense of energetic flow can be found in a piece of artwork. In the past I have completed bodies of work exploring the sea, the migration and movements of birds and dance and I always return to my long standing love of figurative painting and drawing.
